OUR HISTORY
HEKA is a ritual products brand founded in Quebec in 2024 by Jasmine Legault. Its mission is to offer quality products and services that are high-end yet unpretentious, both chic and symbolic, steeped in ancient civilizations yet driven by a spirit of innovation.
These are collections of infusions, baths, oils and incense that suggest simple and pleasant actions, markers of time to humbly give shape to everyday life by evoking a profound order that permeates the body, the mind and things, beauty and harmony.
WHERE DOES THE NAME HEKA COME FROM
HEKA is the Egyptian deity who personifies magical power, she is linked to all magic because she is, in a way, magic itself. "Magic in the sense of heka designates an omnipresent power - comparable to the laws of nature in its omnipresence - by which the world was created in the beginning, by which it is maintained daily and by which humanity is governed. It refers to the exercise of this same power in the personal sphere as the engine that propels man towards a better version of himself by giving him the means to elevate and transform himself."

I have always been driven by a deep calling to help people connect with the essence of their joy. This path of the heart led me to found MAÂT, an organization for social equity, in 2007, and MACHINA, a center dedicated to the development of physical, mental, and spiritual strength in 2017. It is this same impulse that initiated me at a very early age to practice energy healing in different modalities, to take part in spiritual activities in prisons, to join precious healing circles, but above all, to love unconditionally.
It was during a meditation that the energies of ancient Egypt inspired me to form the first outlines of HEKA. They inspired me to find the bottles of perfumed oils I had found in Cairo a long time ago, and upon opening them, it was as if a genie had emerged to guide me on the trail of humanity's first perfumes, the rituals that resonate, and its greatest beauty secrets.
The emergence of HEKA
By letting myself be filled with inspiration and creativity, I felt my daily life and that of the people with whom I share my life rise and change. I reconnected with a deeper sensuality, with a renewed joy in each ritual moment that punctuated my days through the application of care oils, the scent of ancestral incense, the charm of perfumed oils and the magic of a spicy infusion or a celestial bath.
I then decided to create HEKA because I strongly believe that developing an environment in which we feel confident and happy to live is a daily task. The art of living is an attitude of choice that we must cultivate within ourselves in order to be able to enjoy more of the pleasures that life offers us.
Through HEKA, I wanted to highlight the importance of ritual and time markers by developing products that encourage, through gestures that elevate the body and mind, deep joy and self-love.
